Information we collect
Depending on the service you use, we may collect account identifiers, profile details, email address, uploaded audio and artwork, track metadata, conversion filenames and status, rights-consent records, hashed connection identifiers, playback and usage events, support correspondence, and security logs.
Payments are handled by our payment processor. We may retain processor customer, subscription, session, and entitlement identifiers, but we do not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts, uploads, streaming, reference-pitch conversion, plugin delivery, customer support, billing entitlements, fraud and abuse prevention, service reliability, and legally required records. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Audio files and retention
432You source and converted audio files are scheduled for deletion no later than 24 hours after the conversion job is created. A limited job record—including filename, email when supplied, consent timestamp, status, download count, and transaction references—may remain for allowance enforcement, accounting, security, and dispute handling. The audio itself is not kept in that record.
432Tune library files remain available until you delete them or close your account, subject to backup, fraud-prevention, and legal-retention needs. Microphone audio used by the free web tuner is analyzed on your device and is not uploaded by the tuner.
Service providers and disclosure
We use service providers for hosting, object storage, databases, authentication, email, payment processing, and operational security. They receive only the information needed to perform those services under their applicable agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information associated with you. Where applicable, you may also object to or restrict processing and appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. If that practice changes, we will update this notice and provide legally required controls before doing so. Submit a request through our secure contact page. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security, children, and international use
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we process, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. The services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. Local law may provide additional rights.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the services change. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an additional notice. Questions and requests can be submitted through the secure contact page linked below.
